Steadiness Over Speed
Everything here is built for learners who want to feel prepared — not overwhelmed.
Your Own Pace
Sessions are spaced comfortably. There is no rush, no test to pass, and nothing to prove. Just steady learning that fits your life.
Small, Supportive Groups
You learn alongside a small number of people in a similar stage of life. Questions are always welcome. No topic is too basic.
Thai Context Throughout
All examples, banks, and financial products are Thai-specific. What you learn applies directly to your situation here in Thailand.
Printed Materials Included
Every programme includes printed guides, worksheets, or planning notebooks — something you can keep, write in, and return to.
Respectful Guidance
Our facilitators bring warmth and patience. We never sell financial products, and we always encourage speaking with a licensed adviser for personal decisions.
Education, Not Persuasion
Charoen Path is purely educational. We help you understand your options clearly so you can speak with greater confidence to the professionals who advise you.

Frequently Asked
If something isn't answered here, please feel free to write to us.
Who are these courses designed for?
Our programmes are designed for people aged 40 and older who would like to feel more comfortable and confident managing their personal finances. No prior knowledge is needed — we begin gently from wherever you are.
Are these courses conducted in English?
Yes, all sessions are conducted in English. Materials are also provided in English. We focus on the Thai financial context while keeping all communication clear and straightforward for English-speaking learners living in Thailand.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are held at our Chiang Mai location on Chang Phueak Road. Depending on the programme, some recorded or supplementary materials may be accessed at home at your own pace. We'll share all details once you enrol.
How large are the groups?
We deliberately keep groups small — typically between six and ten participants — so that everyone has room to ask questions and feel comfortable. A smaller group also means the facilitator can adjust the pace to suit the people in the room.
Do you sell financial products or give personal advice?
No. Charoen Path is an educational provider only. We do not sell investment products, insurance, or financial instruments, and we do not give personal financial advice. For decisions about your own money, we always encourage consulting a licensed financial adviser.
What does the course fee cover?
The fee covers all sessions within the programme, any printed guides or worksheets, notebooks where included, and facilitator time. There are no hidden extras. Payment details are shared during the enrolment process.
Can I start with the introductory course and continue later?
Absolutely. Many participants begin with "Before the Rains" and then join "Weathering Well" or "The Whole Year Programme" when they feel ready. There is no pressure to move on — take as long as you need between programmes.
